President’s Message

On behalf of the Executive committee of Bengali Cultural Society of Milwaukee (BCSM), I would like to extend warm greetings and a Happy New Year to all !!

As we welcome in 2023, we hope that the new year brings us peace, prosperity, stability and joy. We are looking forward to an eventful year ahead with many activities, celebrations and festivals being planned. We would like to invite you all to join the fun and spontaneously participate in all these events.

BCSM is committed to be an open and welcoming organization to bring together everyone as we celebrate our culture and be the home away from home. BCSM is also committed to serve as a platform for introducing our rich heritage and traditions to the next generation. We will continue to build on the great work our predecessors have started and keep our ears open for feedback / inputs as we go along.

BCSM over the years has been sustained by the active members / volunteers who spend countless hours in planning, leading and execution of events. The executive committee would like to encourage more and more individuals to come and join the team either directly as board members or as volunteers. A diverse team with wide expertise will help the organization move forward and grow.

BCSM is sustained by the memberships, donations, sponsorships and advertisements received every year. We would like to thank all individuals / organizations for supporting us and would look forward to their continued support. We will continue to explore additional avenues including corporate ones like Amazon smiles etc.

Finally, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all the Volunteers, Participants, Board members and previous board members in their support, efforts and guidance in making everything possible.
