President’s Message

Hello, my fellow members of Bengali Cultural Society of Milwaukee (BCSM). On behalf of the current Executive Committee, I would like to extend warm greetings to you all! I am honored to be the next president of BCSM. With the incredible support from you as well as from our current Executive Committee members, I will do my best to represent our community and remain committed to fulfill all your expectations.

The goal of BCSM is to enjoy the essence and spirit of Bengali heritage and ethnicity that includes, but not limited to food, music, literature, and culture. We strive to retain and nurture our cultural root, accentuate our presence as a community, propagate our cultural heritage to new generations, and positively contribute to the incredible cultural diversity of United States. Most importantly, we aim to accomplish all these and accelerate our social harmony as a culturally inclusive community in this beautiful part of SE Wisconsin. 

As we move forward, we will keep our ears open for your invaluable feedback and will build on the great work that our predecessors have started. On this note, we are thankful to the outgoing executive committee for all their commendable accomplishments and efforts in the past two years, and also for contributing towards the ongoing transitions. The success of our organization over the years would have not been possible without all the hard work and dedication of the active members & volunteers who spent countless hours in planning, leading, and the execution of all the events from time to time.

Currently, we have over 100 registered members. We would seek your support and assistance to expand our membership and community volume. We need you to reach out to your social circle and encourage your friends and extended family members to join our organization as member. A diverse team with wide expertise will help this organization to move forward and grow. Regardless of being a member or not, everyone is welcome to participate in all the events and activities throughout the year.
