President’s Message

Dear BCSM Families, Members, and the Bengali Community in Wisconsin,

On behalf of the current Executive Committee of the Bengali Cultural Society of Milwaukee (BCSM), I extend our warmest greetings to you all. It is a privilege to serve as the next President of BCSM. With your continued support and the dedication of our Executive Committee, I am committed to representing our community with integrity and humility, and to working collaboratively to strengthen and serve our shared vision and goals.

I am pleased to introduce our Executive Committee:

The previous committee, under the leadership of Mr. Manojoy Nag, achieved many remarkable milestones for BCSM. I would like to sincerely thank the previous Executive Committee, Mr. Ankan Gupta (Secretary), Mr. Kinkar Ghosh (Treasurer), Mr. Abhijit Banerjee (Cultural Secretary), Mrs. Neon Das (Board Member) and Mrs. Saheli Bose (Board Member) for their dedication and outstanding service. Our goal is to uphold and build upon the high standards they have set.

Our organization’s success would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our members and volunteers who generously contribute their time and effort to plan and execute our events. We warmly welcome the participation of new members and the next generation in BCSM. Recognizing their busy schedules and extracurricular commitments, we are exploring the introduction of volunteer hours that can be mutually beneficial.

As we move forward, our focus will be on preserving and celebrating Bengali culture for future generations, creating a welcoming and inclusive space for both new and existing members, and listening closely to the voices of our community - because your ideas, feedback, and participation matter most to us.

This Executive Committee is a group of passionate individuals who are honored and humbled to serve as an extension of the larger BCSM community. We will continue to seek guidance from our elders and past committee members as we move ahead.

We sincerely seek your support in expanding our membership and strengthening community outreach. Please encourage your friends and extended family to join BCSM - an engaged and growing membership will help our organization flourish and serve our community even better.
